Château Patache d'Aux embodies the highest expression of Cabernet Sauvignon: the power and freshness of the northern Médoc and an expression of the north. An emblematic figure, it can only be found in the finest wine shops and on the finest tables.

Vinified in temperature-controlled uncoated concrete vats. Gentle extraction (mostly sulfur free punching downs) and short vatting period of less than 4 weeks in average in order to moderate the extraction important tannic potential.

Three distinct geolotic formation, with particular agro-wine characteristics. Begadan, with limestone slab, deep clays and Saint Christoly valley on Garonne gravel.

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc.

80% of the wine aged in barrels of 225 and 400L during 12 months. 1/3 in new barrels, 1/3 in one-wine barrels and 1/3 in two-wine barrels. 20% of total volume aged in uncoated concrete tanks.
